1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GlobalGrantHub (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

GlobalGrantHub is a grant-funding and social impact platform that connects funders with project recipients globally. The Platform enables users to create profiles, post and discover projects, make and receive funding, communicate with other users, and track the impact of funded initiatives.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Roles

The Platform supports two primary user roles:

• Funders: Users who browse and fund projects. Funders may make direct donations or provide grants to project recipients.
• Recipients: Users or organisations that create and manage projects seeking funding. Recipients must complete KYC/AML verification before receiving funds.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
• Provide false or misleading information about yourself or your projects
• Misuse funds received through the Platform
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property rights
• Use the Platform to distribute spam or malware
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Circumvent any security features of the Platform

6. Financial Transactions

All financial transactions on the Platform are processed by third-party payment providers. By making a transaction, you agree to the terms and conditions of those providers. GlobalGrantHub is not responsible for errors, delays, or failures caused by payment processors. All donations and grants are made voluntarily. Refunds are subject to our refund policy and may not be available in all cases.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post to the Platform. By posting content, you grant TransGrant Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Platform. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are owned by GlobalGrantHub and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. GlobalGrantHub does not endorse any project, organisation, or individual on the Platform and is not responsible for the actions of users or the outcomes of funded projects.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlobalGrantHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GlobalGrantHub operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
